If you are submitting for a DCP, you will need to provide the post team with an uncompressed file. Codecs like Apple ProRes and DNxHR are ideal. Compressed codecs like H.264 can not be accepted. Below, you'll find instructions to help export in the proper format.

Check your sequence settings!
Make sure you have your intended resolution and frame rate in your sequence settings before we move on to your export settings. (Note: your resolution and frame rate may vary from those in the screenshots)
Once you confirm your sequence settings, we can export.
File/Export/Media...
The Export Settings window will open
Format: Quicktime
Preset: Apple ProRes 422 or 4444
Important: Click on the blue text next to 'output name' to name your file and select a location to save it.
Under 'video' check that your resolution and frame rate still match your intentions.
Check your audio settings and make sure they match your intentions.
Click 'export'
